Find out what to expect during the i-STAIR study screening, which checks your eligibility through a short questionnaire and interview. Participation is compensated.

Screening Overview

The purpose of the screening is to confirm your eligibility for the study. It can be done either online or in person. Your participation in the screening will also be compensated.

Details of Each Component:

Consent Taking

You will be provided with information about the study such as the purpose, procedures and risk of the screening process. You will be given time to ask question about the screening and the study itself before providing your consent.

Questionnaire and Interview

This screening will involve gathering information mainly on your childhood events and mental health states to confirm your eligibility based on the study’s inclusion and exclusion criteria.

End of Screening

At the end of the screening, you will receive an inconvenience fee for your time and you will be informed of your eligibility for the study. If you pass the screening session, we will contact you to schedule the baseline assessment on another day.
